Crush on a senior guy at college

Should I move on? A Guy at work said he wants to keep the relationship professional. It seemed like we had something there. We are both RAs in the same college dorm building but he’s the head RA of our team of 12. He’s 21 male and I’m 20 female.

He found out I liked him but He said because of his position as our team head, it wouldn’t be fair to the rest of the team if he showed me any favoritism. He said because of it he’s had to give up a lot and make sacrifices. So for the year we should keep it supervisor/supervised relationship.

We wrote each other team shoutout notes, he called me babe the one time, when we said hi and walked passed each other we would always look back at each other, he still does it. We had a conversation about our life aspirations and that we both had a dream to get married. We asked each other our types and he described a quirky artsy girl(which I happen to be).

He’s graduating at the end of the year. Should I let it go and move on?

I just want to know if he ever felt the same. He’s pretty career focused. I really liked him so I’ll let him go out of respect for him. But it really seemed he was into me too.
