Dealing with Rejection
Hello everyone,
It was my first time, telling a girl I liked her and asking her out on date. She is classmate/friend of mine from Uni. She had these cute weird quirks, the way she sneezed like a mouse, she is kind of a bookworm, her painting were really beautiful, her curly black hair is really gorgeous and honestly she is one of the nicest person I ever met in my life. Few weeks ago, I mustered up the courage to go and tell her how I felt about her. She kind of said "she wasn't ready to start dating". I'm still trying to process the rejection. I'm kind of struggling to get over her and move on.It is really affecting my other aspects of work and social life. Could someone give me some tips or advice on how to move on?
A little about myself: I come from a really conservative and religious christian family. My entire schooling was in an all boys school. I never knew , how I felt about the opposite sex up untill moving away from my parents . I never had the opportunity to express/talk about my feelings about romance or sexuality until I went off to uni.

Hello there!:)
I think I can quite confidently state that I can truly relate with understanding. I hold your pain and struggles inching your heart and chest so close to a heart of mine with compassion delicately like a beautiful flower which needs to be taken care for.
It might feel like you can be questioning yourself "why me?" "what have i done?" and so and so and so on, the thoughts going all over ad over again in a neverending cycle of loop. It can make you assume a lot, blame yourself or underestimate yourself. This is how i at least feel like... and it is more than okay if it is different, i may be wrong afterall. However let me tell you one extremely importnt thing: YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH. Much more than good enough. You are you and nobody else is. Nobody else in this wholeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee universe. And that should be your superpower. I can although understand it might not feel like that sometimes and that is totally fine too.
I am always here for you, dont ever hesitate to text me:)
Sending love, energy and strenght!
Hana
