Dealing with Rejection
Hey everybody. I know a lot of us have came through to a relationship where everything worked out and things tied together at the end! However, often I realize that rejection is a very real struggle that many others may go through and struggle with (including myself).
Personally rejection has been extremely difficult in the sense that it damages my self-esteem, my confidence and just honestly makes me feel hopeless. The rejection blues are a real thing that many of us may struggle with.
In lieu of this what are some instances you guys have gone through rejection? How do you describe being in that position for you? (If you're comfortable to share of course). What are some healthy ways that you were able to get out of post-rejection sadness?

Hello, I agree with you that many people nowadays have to deal with some kind of rejection and it is an important topic to talk about.
When I felt rejected it was confusing for me and for a long time I felt ambivalent about the whole situation. I found myself having a wide range of emotions. What helped me to feel better was listening to music and writing everything I felt down.

Thanks for sharing! I agree that sense of ambivalence can really lead to some confusing times after rejection dealing with all those emotions. For me I feel as if I go into a period of apathy right after the sadness which can be really hard to come out from (learn how to feel emotions again).
I think writing down feelings and what you're going through is a great way to understand and sort out these emotions. Also personally music is a great way to be in touch with my emotions to prevent the apathetic stage.
@sunnyWriting4806 I remember the saying "Rejection is re-direction" and I feel a bit better. Being rejected probably meant that that certain thing was not right for me (at least right now) So I take a bit of comfort in that thought.
