Falling for my ex and unsure what to do

Long story short my bf is great aside from flaws that are getting hard to look past.

I'm starting to get feeling again for my ex (which has never happened before) but he had flaws too, but has grown out of them.

I'm just torn on what to do. Because I love my current guy but he's becoming a bit much and won't listen. Or will listen and twist the story.

And the ex is great but both our lives will be hard for a while if anything happened and we got together.

The current and I have a good life and they are so intertwined moving on would be difficult.

The current guy like I said is a great bf but he doesn't listen when I bring up issues and when he does he usually has a way of twisting it to make me look or feel like the one in the wrong.

My ex and I had issues that have now gone away because of growing up/seeing what went wrong with us otherwise he was/is great he's still my best friend.

I'm just not sure what I should do. Or where to start.

I can't talk to my best friend about it because he's involved being my ex and all and I don't want to get his hopes up if something happens and I stay with the current guy.
