Friendzone
Hello everyone!
I hope you all have had a great day so far. About one year ago I got out of 4 years long relationship. Before and after that I was pretty unsuccessful in dating. I get sometimes a chance with a girl I like. On my last attempt, I somehow got in the friendzone again. The worst thing is that she approached me and she was interested and I somehow screwed things up. I don't really have the courage to be more direct. I think that I am a completely lost cause in this field. Can anyone advise me how to change this trend? I am 23 years old male, and if I can't do it now, I have a feeling that things will be only nastier with time.
Sorry for bad English.
@Dunbar98 I'm sorry you are having a hard time. Part of dating is that people may not be interested every time, and they are allowed to make that choice. Having friends who are women is still valuable, although I know it hurts to be turned down. Maybe focus on yourself for a bit, focus on some hobbies/ interests that will help you connect with people, work on self-esteem and self-confidence and then eventually you can try asking more women to get coffee or something. Some will not be interested, but eventually one will be. :)
