He can I approach to him?

I had a date last weekend with a guy it was very cool and fun. We have a lot in common and share many common interests.. I’ll be honest: the date was more than just a coffee and we ended up sleeping together etc etc.. if this was the richt decision of not I don’t know.. fact is that I don’t regret it or anything. Because it was very nice. So.. the thing is, that he actually lives in a different city which is 500km away from me. And he actually never visits the city I live in (he was here cause of a job and we met on tinder..) At the end of the date I told him that I think he’s very cool and that it’s a pitty that he doesn’t live here.. but he was just like “yea also a pitty that you’re never in *city*” After this very nice date, the intimate hours we shared and everything.. I feel like the magic is gone now? We just had a poorly few texts on WhatsApp after that.. seems like no one of us has communicated their feelings so far.. but I feel like I really want to get to know him better but also I have some boundaries and I dont want to text him too much or scare him with emotional texts etc.. so what to do?
