He left me for someone else

I knew him for over ten years as friends but we barely talked. recently his family went through tragedy. I was taking care of everything regarding funeral and guest. His family showed how much they appreciate me for helping them. He was also very depressed and somehow we ended up in my bed. From then on, he would stay at my place and instead of being a girlfriend, I felt like I was there for him as a mother role. He said he loved me but when I almost get pregnant, he said he’s not ready since he just lost his little brother a month ago. He also doesn’t like shotgun wedding. He wants to have kids after we married for a year. He hasn’t been working since funeral and when his family and pushed him to work, he wasn’t cooperating with us. Finally his family asked me to persuade him to get engaged with me because they think he is losing his minds after his little brother death. And because of our culture, it wasn’t right for him to be sleeping at my place every day. So I pressured on him to work and to get engaged with me. Then out of nowhere, he called me and said he’s got another girlfriend. We broke up just like that. After living with him and sleeping with him for two months straight, we broke up with one phone call. He told me he doesn’t like me and his mom doesn’t like me. I was so taken back because of with all the conversations I had with his mom and dad. I had never loved anyone like I loved him. It’s been a week since we broke up and I lost sleep and no appetite to eat. Please help to go through this.
