I Cut Contact With A Guy (It’s Final)
I told him that we should move on from each other. I advised that he stopped talking to me. He asked why and I told him because there was a lot of bad history and I wanted better. He responded that he is better than before. I left him on read. He didn’t text again. He didn’t try to fight for me and I think that’s a sign that I did the right thing.
I mean honestly, respecting someone's wish not to talk to you anymore doesn't really qualify as "not fighting for you" in my opinion. It's just the respectful thing to do.
I'm not saying you didn't make the right decision or anything. I don't know what the situation is. But I'm just pointing out that that's actually healthy behaviour. It would be more concerning if he would refuse to respect your decision and kept contacting you despite you not responding.
Hi Pebbs 👋 Good for you! As women, we gotta trust our instincts more instead of relying on wishful thinking, which I've also been guilty of when it comes to men.
Why is it so hard to find a compatible partner? I think nobody wants relationships anymore. They want the benefits, but don't want to put in the work.
Good for you. I am glad that you are moving forward. Keep walking away. @pebbs123
@bestVase7265 I ended up texting him. :/ I tried. Maybe he won’t text back
@pebbs123
Why would you text him? I don't understand...you said you wanted something better. Are you having doubts or maybe, I totally misunderstood something. If so, my apologies..
You know the time has come to stop. Just walk away so you can stop beating yourself up. @pebbs123
You said you both have a bad history, you mentioned he has no ethics, and he makes no attempt to respond.
Is he depriving you of any attention after you both were madly in love at one time? Is that fair, simply b/c you said we should move on? He didn't want to fight for the relationship?
Is he being manipulative, so you never again take control and break things off?
Do you want to be with someone who wants you less than how much you want them?
Do you want him "OR" you need him?
There is a difference..
