I’m confused
He broke up with me giving a reason that he didn’t have enough feelings for me to sustain the relationship. And after he broke up with me we are still friends but he says he wants me to be there around and not leave him but he also wants to keep things casually sexual between us idk what to do. Because I still have feelings for him and still love him he says he has feelings too but they are not enough
I think he has lost his interest from you emotionally.. he is no more attached with you mentally and emotionally, he just being Physically interested. And he wants sexual advantage from you until he finds someone else.
@enola240105So essentially he wants to have the benefits of a sexual relationship with you, without having the responsibilities of considering your emotional needs. He doesn't want to have to buy you anniversary gifts, and doesn't want to have to constantly make you feel special, and take you on dates, but he wants his own sexual needs to still be met. He's interested in a 'relationship of convenience' which means whenever its convenient for him, he'll call you up and have sex but if you try to talk about your 'feelings' he will change the topic. You might agree to this because you're still in love with him - but just know that eventually he's going to start seeing and having sex with other people. Almost guaranteed, when a man says "the feelings aren't there, but I'll still have sex with you!" the simple fact is he does - not - love - you. Worse, he does not even respect your feelings enough to disengage sexually with you, because he is not even considering how emotionally devastating it is to have sex with someone that you are in love with who does not even reciprocate that emotion. When men say this - there is nothing you can do to make them love you. Your intuition right now might be saying "Maybe its not the end, maybe I can change this, change something.. maybe if I keep sleeping with him the feeling might come back!". No. Stop. It never works out that way. That is your love smitten heart desperately clinging to a false hope. That's what I see when I read your situation. He might think he is being a "friend" to you but I think he cares more about the benefits than the friendship. He is merely tolerating the friendship so that he can secure the benefits. Plain & simple - He is using you, and you need to decide if you're going to consent to that, if you're OK with that. Wishing you all the best, CatzInTheCradle
Yeah I did feel that way that maybe he just wants to keep up the things between us but then I know him and feel like he won’t do such a thing to me but then why now I met him recently and he kissed me and said he misses me and us I don’t get it if that is the case why don’t you try it out why are you giving up why now when we have soo many chances why isn’t he trying why
