Insecurities

I have a sort of friendship/“situationship” with a boy. Firstly, he’s moving away to a new college next semester but he does say he wants to at least go on a date with me before he goes. I’m absolutely crazy about him, i think because he’s really cute, tall, deep-voiced, athletic guy while I feel like I am short, fat, ugly, nerdy girl. When he first asked me out on a date I assumed it was a joke from my low-self esteem. He doesn’t always initiate conversation, which makes me a bit worried, but when he does it’s great and makes me feel validated. I fear i’m too needy. I’m scared of losing him to a cuter college girl and that i’ll be left behind. I feel so alone but I’m crazy about him, but I feel so needy and insecure. I want him so bad.
