Mixed signals
So I’m a straightforward girl. I tell guys from the first day I talk to them, that I’m not going to sleep with them (cause I’m saving myself for marriage). And I always find myself in a really confusing situation with every guy. They always say they respect my decision and act like they don’t mind it. Now here is where the confusion starts. So since we (me and a guy) both know I won’t sleep with them, it’s obvious that if they want sex then I’m not the right person to be with, so they could just be my friend and fuck whoever they want. However, it’s never like that. They always flirt with me and compliment me on daily basis (not just as friends) and their body language shows that they’re not just my friend and that makes me think that they like me, but they never ask me out. They just give me mixed signals until they get in a relationship or until I stop replying to them. Recently I’ve been talking to this guy I really like and I think he likes me too, but as always, he hasn’t asked me out even tho he flirts with me, tries touching me when he’s laughing or when he’s around me and always compliments me. So, what I’m wondering is that maybe I’m not getting the signals properly. How should I know if a guy truly likes me and what should I do when they just give me mixed signals?

Hey, I'm not quite sure if this reply will help but I'm a guy who had a really bad experience with a girl, I told them I wouldn't have sex unless we were together and spent quality time together, but I was getting constant mixed signals from them that I was really confused about. I've never had a relationship so I would like dates to the park or playing games together and all of that sort before even thinking about sex. I personally drived a state away to pick them up and have them move in with me to help them out of a "bad situation" that they told me they were in, in the 4 months she was there I couldn't talk to her except through a gaming chatting network called "discord". I gave somewhat the same kind of flirtations as you pointed out to her, like giving her more intimate hugs, complimented her on her looks all the time, and tried my best to make her comfortable without actually asking her out. For me she never said anything back, and she never wanted to hang out with me. I never asked her out because I figured she didn't like me based on her not spending almost any quality time with me, instead she'd randomly come in my room and just sit on my bed with barely any clothing on, which I had no idea what to do and usually just ignored it. I personally struggle with anything relationship wise because growing up i've seen hundreds of relationships fall apart and I don't want to try one unless I know we like each other from both of our own words out of our mouth. As for answering your question in my opinion, if you try and talk to them about it and ask if they really like you, or are just being overly friendly because they feel close enough to you to act that way. I wish this girl would have told me something that gave me that "push" i needed to actually try and pursue her as a partner and not just a "sex friend" which I refuse to do. Hope this helps you out in some way!
