Old boyfriend
I was from high school with one boy for 5 years. 3 years ago I received an offer to go to Germany and work there in my profession. We broke up because I was not ready to marry him and start a family right away. Now after 3 we still hear each other sometimes, but not often once in 5 months. Some time ago he told me that he was in a relationship and that he was happy.However as he told me he was in a relationship and that he was happy I have a feeling that I have fallen into a mild depression because I had too many expectations.

Hi! That sounds like a painful experience. Have you told him about your feelings? If not, he might think you don't mind/care, and have moved on. Marriage and relationships revolve around communication and being able to talk about difficult things, so whatever the outcome this could be really good practise, just talking honestly. Also it will give you both more of an idea about how well you fit together. Just my thoughts, I don't know either of you and you will know what is best. 💛
