Should I tell him

So me and my boyfriend have been dating for 2.5 years and things have felt off to me for a lot of it. We started online for the first year and a half then I moved in with him and I started to notice how off things were.

I grew up with a high functioning autistic brother who's symptoms I gotten used to. So for the first while of living with him I really didn't connect the dots until a month in a half ago I made a joke to myself how I'm so used to this because of my brother.

A lot of what I've noticed is mostly the sense sensitivity issues, my boyfriend is super picky about his food. Has a ton of candles and can almost always tell me what perfume I'm wearing. I can't move something in a room without him being bothered by it. He can't wear certain clothing because it makes him uncomfortable. And when he's doing something he needs to focus on background noises irrate him immensely. (I know I could be very wrong here because of how nuanced people could just be but after being raised around someone I feel I could have a good sense if I'm around someone with the disorder)

These are super super similar to my brother. Then after I made that connection a lot of the weird off-putting things made sense too. Why he doesn't pick up on certain queues I'm trying to laydown, why when I talk to him it doesn't feel like he's listening but he is. Why it always feels like he's upset with me but he really isn't.

Now here's where I realize that I create a problem if I tell him this. He lived his whole life thinking there wasn't really something wrong with him. If I tell him I worry that he'll get really upset and distraught because of this or he just won't believe me and get mad with me. But I feel like this information is important because in the future with either our relationship or anyone else's this could cause problems or more problems and I want him to be aware of it and know how to act(might be worded wrong) or just alert others that this is a thing.

@potatospud
I think you should tell him bc you never know he could and you could help him if he does (:
