Tips for how to cope with change

So me and my boyfriend are almost inseparable. We're

currently at the honeymoon phase wherein we constantly

update and talk to each other and see each other once a

week.

However, he's got a new job. I'm happy for him, really.

But what bugs me is his work schedule. It starts at 4 am

to 12 PM and basically it clashes with my schedule.

He's awake while I'm asleep and vice versa.

Although I can still talk to him while he works but only for a brief

moment. And after that he's gone off to sleep for the rest

of the day. And I won't be able to talk to him anymore.

So in conclusion, it's hard for me to adjust to changes.

And this is definitely a big one. How can I get through

this? He also feels sad about the situation but there's

nothing he can do.

Change can be really hard, but honestly in the long run, it can show you just how strong your relationship is. And sometimes being apart can make the relationship even more fun when you are together!

Maybe what you can find some creative ways to connect throughout the day. What if you leave him some cute messages for when he gets home and you are sleeping and he could do the same for you. That way, you have something to look forward to at the end of each of your day.

The other idea is what if you make sure that at the beginning of each week you work together to plan some fun "date days/nights" for days when you are both off of work and can be together? You could even take turns being responsible for the planning the fun time together.

I know it is a hard transition, but I promise, working together through this adjustment can be a blessing in helping your relationship grow ❤️
