Dating this guy for 3 months and I feel like it's gone too fast. He's sweet and nice but I feel like something's off. He kinda pushed to meet my kids and become apart of my routine and now I really just want to break it off and be single but I don't know how. He hasn't really done anything deal breaking. I'm just not feeling it anymore. Kinda feeling a bit overwhelmed having to talk with him and make time for him with everything I've got going on.

Sounds like he might be love bombing you. I recently got out of an abusive relationship that started the exact same way. Very intense emotions from him that I felt I had to reciprocate. Talking about being soul mates and how everything is perfect now and that it was fate that brought us together. He might be trying to force an intense connection quickly so that the cycle of abuse can begin. If he isn’t respecting your space or boundaries in seemingly little things, he isn’t going to respect them with big things either.

That is indeed a tricky situation. Why do not you ask him to give you space, and take a break for some time? It is difficult when one person is busier than the other!

@AliceDragon Trust your gut for sure. If you already feel uncomfortable this early on it will probably only get worse. The relationship is not going at your pace, and you need to put yourself and your intuition first.

I agree it’s sounds like he’s testing your boundaries. Request some space to get your head around it and if it’s granted then that’s a good sign but if there’s difficulties with that then it’s worth considering if it’s worth it 😕
