Unsure about getting back with my ex

My ex and I broke up 2 months ago and I couldn’t get over the good time we had. We had amazing chemistry however he is not a very driven person. He spend a lot of time on video games and didn’t really make plan for future. I feel tired to be the one reminding him to spend time wisely and as it progress he thinks that I’m being naggy. We fought alot due to our motivation imbalances

I want a partner who can grow with me. But I couldn’t get over him. We had really great chemistry and I feel like I can never meet anyone as clicked as him. We laugh a lot but we also go fight a lot.

I really want him back but at the same Im worry that it won’t work. And I’m worry that if I wait any longer I will miss the window of opportunity to get him back. I hope to get some advice

Hi! I hope ur doing well! If not, im really sorry and i can understand.

I think u should try to write, make a list, about the good and the bad things he had, what the two of you have been sharing to each other, and if u think u can get back to what it was before...

I know its hard, but also try to be more with yourself! Find out who you are, and you will see what is good for u.

Wish you luck! Just stay strong 💗

@intuitiveShade7505,

do not remind him.

You should accept your partner as is. Don't try to change your partner, that won't work.

If you feel that your partner should spend more time with you, then talk to him. Not like "you are always playing video games" but how you feel (feelings, not emotions that is). Like "I feel sad when..." or "I feel rejected when..." and then tell why.

Nobody can judge you on how you feel. He might understand, does not mean that he would agree though. Do not argue, do no justify, do not attack. Just speak your heart.

If he loves you he will understand and the two of you will be able to sort this out.

Warmth and love to both of you.

My advice is not to get back to your ex. There is a reason you broke up. Both sides must work for a relationship, and if you cannot find a middle ground, then what's the point?

Losing the opportunity to get back to your ex means you gain the opportunity to be with someone with whom you may find that middle ground. The good communication. The understanding. The mutual interest to bring value to the relationship.❤️
