getting over a break up but confused if he really loved me
so we are kinda toxic and it went back and forth for over 2 years of getting back together and breaking up and a couple days ago ge ended up breaking up with me and saying he doesn’t want me anymore and isn’t happy but he was at my house like 1 month ago for 3 weeks. and then as soon as he went back home he started acting different mean while i live in nc and he lives in ct so it’s already hard and he started acting different when he was around his friends pushing me to the side and i even saw red flags when he was with me but i talked to him about it and he has a tendency to shut down my feelings and tell me i’m trying to start an argument when i’m not im just trying to express myself and i’ll agree i am really bad at expressing my feelings but when i try it’s either im overreacting or he’s not in the mood to do this. but when it’s the good times and we aren’t fighting he treats me so well. but once we broke up he said he was gonna change and do better so we are able to be with each other in the future or in general so he won’t have to hurt me. but then as he is saying that as soon as we broke up he went and hung out with his friends and a bunch of girls and it’s like they were the problem in our relationship so why as soon as we break up you go right to doing the shit that was the problem and it’s like i gave this kid my everything literally my everything my social life my friends everything was gone just do we can work. but he can do whatever he pleases and then he wants to say that he wants me around and not totally out of his life but yesterday he didn’t text me once and i didn’t txt him bc i wanted to see if he would text me at all or even think about me and he didn’t i even texted him and was like dude u say u want me around but u don’t even text me when i even talked to him about it and to stop making me feel like i’m a burden and that i look desperate to wanna be with u or even talk to u. and its just like if u don’t want me around and your gonna ignore me when i text u after u said you will answer me and stop making me feel like a stranger he ends up doing it still and now he’s just completely not answering me at all and it’s like did u ever really love me that your able to just stop texting me and hangout with a bunch of girls that were the problem from us and it’s just like i don’t know what to do but i’m not texting him anymore and imma just let whatever happens happen bc i shouldn’t hurt my love life or myself for someone who won’t change but it’s hard letting go of someone that u see in your future u see them having your kids like it’s hard

First of all, please believe and remember that you are a wonderful person worthy of being loved! I understand your confusion after such a long relationship. According to your description, there are problems in communication when you get along with each other, and it can be seen from your description that some of his behaviors are inappropriate. At this time, breaking up means that you may not be the right person for each other. I think relationships start when you love each other. Now that you're over the relationship, it's in the past and you can stop struggling on it. You have to move on and start over. You need to believe in yourself and cheer up. You will meet your own happiness and people who understand you in the future. Please enjoy your life right now, put your happiness first, do not worry so much, and get back to your social life. Seize and enjoy real happiness when it comes!

I already know about your difficulties. You needn't be confused. In my opinion, if the relationship is a burden for you, why not let it go and try something new? You can use this time to learn more to improve yourself. He doesn't seem completely innocent to me. He says he'll be better off and wait for you, but he's said that a lot, hasn't he? He's not better, but he keeps giving you hope. He's using his promotion time to hang out with friends and girls. So why not do the same, drop the relationship, move on to other things, meet new people, and make new friends. Maybe you'll see the relationship differently after that, too?
