i need an advice
hey there guys ! im F(23) and my partner is M(30) we were in an online relationship for 2 years , then he moved to were i live and weve been living together for 1 year . he was working for couple of months and i was in college . i was doing all the house chores . after 4 months he stopped working . i didnt want to pressure him . days went on and we were struggling financially so i started working . ive been asking him to help arround the house but he never did anything . so for 4 months now i found it stressing to work and study and do all the house chores . every time i ask him to do something small he tells me tomorrow and then leaves it till i do it . for 1 year he never did any chores : even cooking and taking out the trash . i need ur oppinions and advices . thank you
Imagine if you also did not take out the trash… your house would start to smell quite awful wouldn’t it?
You relationship is just like this - if it is not maintained regularly it will stagnate. We can all sometimes forget to take out the trash.. but after one year of not doing anything to help you - it shows you that this is actually the person that he is! If he can’t even keep simple promises to do small things, then it shows he does not respect your relationship and takes you for granted.
So [maybe] if your relationship starts to look too much like garbage, maybe you need to dump it!
