should i text him again?

i made the first move w this guy, cause he appeared sympathetic to me (it was only all through internet). we texted for a few days- it was really nice. then he ghosted me, so after three days i wrote him again, he said sorry and said if i wanted to go out sometimes. since i am not from the same city, he suggested me to text him again, when i will be in his city, so we can then meet up. all of these texts happened in january i was in his city in jan, but i didnt have the courage to text him again and was quite busy and scared. after january i wasnt there and now it will be june and i'll go there again. i am thinking of texting him, but idk if it is a good idea? our last convo was really in jan. i was scared to write him cause he ghosted me before. should i text him after all this long time or is it embarassing?
