Betrayed

I had a really bad at school today, I messed up the whole physics test and I felt like the biggest failure in this earth. And then my friends wanted to go to a place and I was about to ask to go with them, then my friend suddenly said: bye! You can't go with us it's too away from your home. I don't think her intention was bad but it was like an arrow in my heart, it left me questioning: do they actually not enjoy my presence?

@Meriem6

Hi there,

It must be awful for you to fail your test and felt betrayed by your friend.

You fail on your physic test doesn't mean you are the biggest failures on earth. I think you are too hard on yourself. You could try and learn again and get a better score next time. You still have other chances to change your score in physics.

Did your friends know about you fail your test? What do you expect from your friends that day?

My suggestion is to not assume what your friends think or say if you haven't clarified or make clear of what your friends say or what your thoughts on them after they said that. From my point of view is the answer of your house is too faraway don't mean they don't enjoy your presence or they don't like you as their friend.

@Meriem6,

i’m so sorry this is happening to you, but failing a test doesn’t make you a failure at all. This happen and sometimes test could be hard and we are just not prepared for them. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t retake it again and get a better grade well that is if you can retake it. To me the way your friend approach you is not the correct way to me it also sounds like he/she was rude instead of being your friend she just came into the conclusion that you cannot go with them because you live to far. Instead of approaching you this way maybe ask you nicely and say hey do you want to come? Instead of saying it straight out and rude I’m so sorry you are feeling heartbroken by your friends. But who knows maybe your friends didn’t know that you failed your test and that you were feeling bummed out that very moment. Sometimes friends could be cruel and say things that we don’t want to hear, but who knows maybe try talking to your friends and let them know how you feel maybe they will be different and didn’t mean to actually say what they said to you that day that you wanted to go with them.
