Bored of my friends?

This is pretty vent-y so I apologize. Basically, I usually have so much fun with my group of friends, but recently when I have time to relax and think, all I can think about is how boring it is to be around them! I feel really bad saying this because they're all great people, they just get bland. Now I'm not sure if this is due to a trip I recently took where I met a ton of new, fun people who I had an amazing time with or what, but I'm getting tired of my "real" friends. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, how have you delt with it? I really want to keep my friendships, but I need something more exciting, what should I do?

Hey, did you know that it's actually pretty normal to be bored with your friends sometimes? YES! It's not that weird. We get bored when we keep doing the things that we've always been doing, on a regular basis. So, it's perfectly okay for you to want something exciting, something new. smiley I fully encourage you to go out and explore, meet new people, make new friends and just have crazy fun! I also think this beautiful video would help you to understand this issue more- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9i2HAE-ZSw

Good Luck!

It's perfectly normal to feel disconnected from them. It's not about being bored but about being used to their nature. Maybe you now feel it's time to experiment with new adventures, new people etc. That doesn't mean you give up your "home" friends or that you betray them. It's natural to have ups and downs, without any need to explain them sometimes. Unless you feel like it of course.

@sweetmelody12 Yes, very normal. I experienced this myself. Not sure if this'll help you, but I'll explain how I handled it. See, they were a great group and everything, but I needed something more exciting, so all I had to do was make new friends who were more up to my speed, if that makes sense. Of course, I kept the "old" friends, but new friends really helped bridge that gap, or that hole, I felt with the other group.
