Do I ask her sooner or later?
What's the best way to explain this.....
I'm a teenage guy and I've had a crush on a girl for several months now. The thing is that this girl is one of my closest friends and she knows that I like her. She broke up with her boyfriend about a month ago and I thought that I should try to make a move. About two weeks ago, I asked her out she would react if I asked her out between mid-April and the end of our school year. Her answer, in summary, was that if I waited to do it, I would have a better chance of a "yes". After this, I planned it out, as to when I would ask her and how. However, last week, she hugged me out of nowhere and locked fingers with me. Because of this, I started questioning wheather I should ask her sooner or not.
My question is, given the events of last week, do I ask her sooner, or do I continue to wait? Any thoughts that you have are welcome. Thanks!!
(I'm pretty sure that none of this made any sense, but whatever.)

I'd say wait. You want to respect her wishes and your friendship. If you rush it everything could go wrong. She's just finished with her ex and needs time no matter how it all happened. Remember slow and steady wins the race and being patient and understanding helps a lot too.

If she needs sometime to get over her ex then give her that time hopefully is for the better in the end
Wishing you all the best

Maybe u should wait till Friday and ask her, she seems like she is ready to be with u, but I would say wait till Friday, cause I'm a girl and that my oppinion. Could be wrong, just ask her when u feel like she is ready. Also could u comment on my recent question in this same section. Thank u

Thanks for your opinion. I was actually going to see how the begginning of this week goes (if she tries to make other motions that she's ready) and go from there.
@conscientiousBunny2052
Yeah that why I think u should wait till Friday, cause u can see how she acts throughout the week and u won't seem clingy
@conscientiousBunny2052 I think it's find to express your interest. I don't think there's any harm in asking.. If anything she just may say she needs more time. I know you won't really want to be the person she goes to right after a break up so maybe give her some time and let her know your intentions? You sound like a great person - she is lucky to have you in your life regardless of her answer.
