Feeling Left Out In a Friend Group
I often feel left out in my circle of friends. My circle of friends consists of me, other four girls, and 3 guys. The closest friends out of all of them are these two girls, Melanie and Miranda. Before we form a bigger circle of friends, I was with the two of them first. But, they were both already friends long before I met them. Both of them share an irreplaceable bond that makes me feel so left out whenever I'm with them. It's like being a thirdwheeler of 2 best friends. They both share secrets, have best friend t shirts, make songs together, all kinds of stuffs without me. Is it wrong for me to feel hurt? Am I just being too sensitive?

Hi, I don't actually feel you're being to sensitve, I mean, it's human nature to always feel like a thirdwheeler. You can always form an irreplaceable bond wth someone else and still be friends with them, It's okay if you are hurt and it's not okay if you didnt notice it any sonner. There's always time for everything and a place for everything.

What should I do? I still want to be their friends, but staying them is slowly killing me from the inside . . . Everytime they laugh together or do things together, it's another knife that stabs my heart. I wish I can have a best friend that I can have a bond with, but I don't have any... What should I do?
@alittleflower1234
That really sucks. I would try to branch out into other activities where you might meet new friends.
The more people you meet, the higher the odds of meeting someone you really click with.
If you had more friends to hang out with it, it wouldn't matter as much that they are besties.
I hope it helps you a little to know that they may not always be as close as they are now, people and friendships change.
But honestly, that would bug me hanging out with them too.
Thanks for sharing. 💙
@alittleflower1234. I too had the same feelings , but not now. What I did is I met many ppl wantedly by joining gym , batminton , clubs , organizations I got some cool friends and now I feel so confident talking to my old friends, I don't have a feeling of being left out . . .
i had this really good best friend and she always promised me she would never ditch me.. she broke that promise a couple of days ago. i told her about how my mental health was degrading and she blew up on me out of no where and now shes friends with these other girls that she always told me she didn't like. i have absolutley no friends now
@naomiann23
I'm sorry to hear that...It's very uncool of your friend to ditch you like that. Especially blewing up when knowing your mental health is degrading. It seems like your friend doesn't really care about you. Do you still want to be her friend though? If no, then don't try to pursue her. If yes, you might need to talk to your friend first and ask why she's acting that way. Tell her how what she's doing upsets you and ask if she still wants to be your friend.
