Friendship ... What does it Mean to You?

Friendships are an important of everyone's life. You can see the importance of friendship when you put two babies of about 9+ months together. They stare at each other first, then they explore each, touching each other and then they play together. They've just made their first friend and they don't even know it!

Many of us have at least one friend we knew from primary or secondary school. Many of us also have a best friend, that friend that is almost like a sibling and seems to know you better than you know yourself.

My bestfriend can tell by the sound of my voice, or even through a text message, if I'm not feeling right. So often one of us will call or message the other to be told, "I just had the phone in my hand to call/message you". Not everyone is lucky enough to have a friend like this and when you get a friend like this you recognise the importance of the connection.

So today I have 3 questions for everyone to ask themselves about friendships:

1. What do your friendships mean to you?
2. What do you give to your friendships?
3. What do you get out of your friendships?

If you would like to share your answers I'd love to hear them and if you have any questions go ahead and ask me and I'll do my best to answer.
