So my best friend's birthday is in a week and because school has been so much and really stressful, I haven't had enough time to get together a really amazing gift for him that he deserves. so instead I got him a notebook and painted it rainbow and inside of it, will have little reminders, notes, inside jokes, memories, all of that cute stuff. I'm just worried that it isn't good enough and it's lame and he won't like it? (I'm also getting them candy, baking him cookies, lavender and candle). I just don't want to it to be super bad and him to think that I don't care about his birthday. I really do.

@smolstrawberries What a caring, wonderful gift! I think that is fantastic! You obviously went out of your way to take time to make all those things. That says more than anything that you care! <3

@smolstrawberries yeah I agree, I will always prefer handmade gifts to anything expensive/store bought. The best gifts I've gotten from friends are the ones that remind me of them and have their personal touch on it, even as simple as a handmade card. It sounds like a great gift and that you put a lot of thought and care into it! What friend wouldn't like that :)
