Help to move on

I have feelings for the guy my best friend loves. (He said he likes me)

My best friend loves him a lot and even told it to him. I don't know whether he likes her or not. But she's sure that they'll end up together. She gets really sad if they fight or anything and she's very happy because of him.I don't want to spoil that.

He's my friend too. I speak to him sometimes. Everytime I speak to him I like him even more. As I don't want to fall for him even more I haven't spoken to him for a few days. I don't text him either.

I want to move on from him and also not hurt him. I don't whether he was serious when he said he liked me, but I want to move on. I want to be his friend and not feel anything romantic for him. And hopefully they get together soon.

Any tips or advices to move on???
