How to make friends as a 25 year old?

How do you make friendships as a 25 year old? I dont have many friends, if any in this area and its so hard to make friends because you just become this annoying person that always wants to do something because your sat in at home on your own with nothing to do. Anyone give any advice?

I agree with beesknees, join some volunteering or some kind of group where you can meet people with the same interests as you. It's really hard to make friends once you're out of school, you have to put forth more effort, but it is definitely possible!
