I'm doing my absolute best

Hey everyone :)

This is my first time posting so I hope I'm doing it right.

Anyway,

I'm 28 years old. I met this girl through work late 2016. Since then, we became friends. Thats all great except, I've developed a bit of a crush. She knows it because I've told her (we should be able to tell each other everything right?) I didn't make a move for the longest time because... I dont know... i freeze up around people. So then i get the courage to make a move she tells me I'm acting weird, I'm crazy, I'm stupid. (Stupid is as stupid does i guess). But after she talks about how important friendship is in a marriage, how her ex was her best friend when they got together. She tells me I'm a best friend. What am I not supposed to read into that stuff? At the same time, she's hanging out with this dude who, tbh, is pretty amazing. When i tell ppl what he does they're always like, "oh wow".

I'm trying not to lose my mind over this but it's honestly driving me crazy. None of it makes sense.

I already stopped communicating and hanging out with her for some time. She called me. She wants me around. As what though? I want to be ok with it all because obviously the situation is out of control but i don't even know where im headed.

Someone please help me deal with this...
