Ok so me and my best friend have known each other 8 1/2 years. She was first my coworker then my boss. That was where we started to get closer. She became someone iI looked up to. Few years down the road she lost her job. I did not want to lose her so I'm made every effort to stay close. The she went threw some crazy things in next couple of years. Husband cheating, long time friend dieing of a over dose, father died, and divorce among other things. I was by her side helping her through it all. She is truly an amazing woman. But the time came where i needed her. I lost my job. And day later she posted on Facebook she had met a new guy. Never had she mentioned to me even though we talked everyday. Then she moved in with him. That has been over 2 months ago. I have always wanted her to be happy. But never thought it would be at me not being a part of her life. She will respond to a email but says she does not talk to anyone on phone. She has always shut people out but not me. Everyone has met him but me. I guess I just don't get it. The person I was always there for has pushed me away when I need her most. I try to move on. I have 2 other very close friends who sayI don't deservess how she treating me. They are friends of hers to just not as close. Just need to know if anyon e has been tthrough this or is going through this. Thanks for reading.

Your other two friends are right. Friendship and any relationship is a two way street. You get what you give and you give what you get. You have put yourself out there 100%only to receive nothing in return.

The light has shown you that you no longer need this person in your life. Stay positive. Everything truly does happen for a reason. We may not understand it at the moment, but that's ok. You'll be ok.

I've been there too. Slightly different but similar. And my conclusion was, also, that friendship is a two way street . Women act on mysterious ways... :) This girl (much younger than me) in my class, asked for my phone number. We started sending tons of messages every day for over a couple of months. She'll be the first person to send me a message in the morning and the last at night, before going to sleep. Soon she changed and messages were more sporadic and many times she'll answer hours later. I didn't deserve to be treated, just as you, that way. Friendship is mutual. Friendship is you enjoying being with other person as much as that other person enjoying being with you. If that changes then we just start begging for their attention. In the other hand, just put yourself in her shoes. My friend move on. I did. We deserve more than that. :)

Sometimes you have to do what's best for you! I've always found in my own personal situations that taking a step back and letting things just 'happen' is the easiest way to go. It still hurts, especially when you feel so wronged, though. If I were in your shoes, I think I would cease contact. I wouldn't become rude, or angry, merely... stop. If she wishes to communicate, she can. Perhaps in the future this man will leave her life and she'll need someone. Then, you can address your own feelings to her as calmly as you can, and maybe cry it out together. If not, well, then perhaps she wasn't worth it anyway. We are all here for you, and I hope the pain eases with time. Whatever happens will sort itself out, though - that much is certain. Good Luck!

My husband has some bad ppl he is always with that he calls friends and I'm so scared he's going to get caught up but he trusts them more than me I guess. He's a good hearted person but like I to d him I had friends I thought I'd die for and they'd die for me but back in the day when I stopped selling drugs and getting high guess what they f pop understand another to party for free with. Yeah it hurt but I let iou t go for myself and for them. People are seasonal sometimes and u just have to cycle through the pain
