Poems of the heart

I have having a difficult time trying to figure out if this guy I like has real feelings for me or if they're "just feelings". Ok let me go back and explain everything, this guy and I were frineda in high school. He was a grade ahead of me and we were in band together. I had a big crush on him and he didn't know it at the time. He said he liked me to but wouldn't pursue me in high school cause I was miss goody two shoes and he was a player a man shore. 12 years later and he and I both got our of bad relationships. We started talking 3 months ago and states hanging out but neither one of us was ready for an actual relationship so we decided to just become fwb. Now I'm starting to have real feelings for him and I've been hinting around to him, I even wrote an acrostic poem on Facebook bout how I felt and he figured out it was bout him. He took it rather well but then he wrote me poems and I can't decipher them. Some makes sense but then again I know what I want them to say so I dot think I can actually see what they say...please help I'm so confused and I don't know what to do.
