Question about friendship

So I’m trying to learn how to build relationships but I don’t know where to start. I’m confused on how to find communities online where I can talk to people and I’m curious to know if anyone happens to have any ideas of where I can go to look for people that could be similar to me. Reddit is super toxic and I know I need to start somewhere to get what I want but I don’t know what sites to go on.
