I often read about how some people struggle with making new friends and building relationships. I agree, making new friends and building relationships can feel challenging at times, but it's also incredibly rewarding. Here’s a few steps that can help you connect with others in meaningful ways:

Ok, to start with the basics;

Be Open and Approachable

• Smile and Make Eye Contact: It can make you look friendly and approachable. 😀
• Body Language: Keep your body language relaxed and open. 

2. Put Yourself in Social Settings 

• Join Groups or Clubs: 
• Hobbies, sport, volunteering roles.
• Attend Social Events: Go to parties, meetups, or casual gatherings where you can interact. 🥳

3. Be Curious and Ask Questions

• A good way is to start a conversation and show interest in someone else’s life.
• Focus on questions that go beyond the surface level: Ask about their passions, experiences, or what excites them in life.

4. Listen Actively

• Show interest in what others have to say. 👂 

5. Be Vulnerable

• Opening up about yourself, even just a little, helps others feel comfortable doing the same. 

6. Look for Common Interests

• You don’t need to have everything in common, but finding a few mutual interests makes it easier to bond. Whether it’s music, movies, or hobbies, sharing something you both enjoy can strengthen your connection.

7.  Patience

• Building meaningful friendships and relationships takes time. Keep showing up to events or conversations, and over time, connections will deepen.
• Being an acquaintance in time may evolve into a relationship as you get to know someone.
