Teen friend problem
So my bestfriend that I have known since the start of high school told my friend that he doesn't care about me which hurt me alot.
After all I was the one who kept all of his secrets, I was the one who stood up for him when people were being mean to him , I was the one who let him take all his frustrations out on me and I was always the one who was there when he was upset but then he walks all over me.
I told myself that I was done with him but lately I have been missing him alot and I don't know if I should just go back to being his friend or if I should keep away.

Some of us grow and mature and some of us go backwards with time and experience. High school is, in my opinion, the stage of our lives with the biggest and most radical changes.
This sometimes means that our paths wont cross anymore with the ones of people who are/were incredibly dear to us at some point, even if it was just a while ago. Keep in mind though that if someone has decided to banish you from the path of their lives, that person needs to be banished from yours and not as an act of revenge or pride, but of knowing you deserve and are worthy of people who appreciate and care about you just the way you are.
Enjoy the best years of your life surrounded by (and worried about) people who deserve to join you on this wonderful life in whatever kind of relationship.
