Toxic friendship
So I was really good friends with someone, and though we argued a lot - I still miss him dearly. We both now know where we stand, and he told me I don't make him feel happy and we can both move on.
Some days I'm fine, but other days it just hurts like hell. Maybe it's missing someone to debate with about feminism, maybe it's missing someone who seemed to care a lot.
It's just a difficult time and I'm struggling to deal with it.
I know is hard, because i pass trought that too, but you have to let it go. If it was a toxic friendship, it's better this way. You (both) are going to find the right people to be with, the one todebateabout feminismand the one who caresa lot (I do carea lot, btw...You can count on me if you want
). You may even find the one of everything in the process, who knows. People says that when you're so focused in your past you miss a lot of things and friendsin your present (and they're right).
I'm hoping that this doesn't sound like an anonymous alcoholics speech, and i wish the best for you :)
I guess the reason you're still thinking about it is that it didn't end for you the way you wanted it to end.I know it sucks when someone decides not to have you as a friend & you're just expected to cope or deal with it.. but at some point you'll realize that you cannot change it & you'll have to accept it as it is & moveforward..
it's okay to miss this friend! you cannot just erase them from your mind or memory.. it takes time to get over anything let alone getting over a dear person! give time some time..
