Trying to get past it
I have hated someone for a few years now because of what she did to me back then. She caused me to hate Sesame Street because I couldn’t get the image of it out of my head once I saw the thing that triggered my PTSD anxiety. She betrayed me by going behind my back to hook up with a rebound guy when she wouldn’t even tell me why she and her ex broke up. I didn’t even know they broke up until I saw him talking about being single. She acted like she was my friend. She didn’t care when I miscarried and completely turned her back on me. She turned to social media to post pictures of Sesame Street claiming to be building her own family which I don’t believe ended up well. She never checked up on me and I’ve been so mad at her for turning her back against me in such a messed up way. I want to finally put this behind me and not be bothered by her terrible memory engraved in my mind. I want to use metaphorical sand paper to scrub and buff my mind clean. I don’t know how to continue to do this except for continuing to never be associated with her again but I want to get to the point where she was never there to hurt me to begin with.
