Why does this always happen to me?

Ive been speaking to a guy for over 2 months, he said he wanted to take it slow and I was completely fine with that. Everything was going well until the last 2 weeks where the replies were getting longer and he was avoiding questions about when we were seeing each other next. I ended what we were doing because I know it wasnt good for me and I deserve better than that but I would just like some clarification on the situation. Was he really interested in me? Will he come back a few months down the line? Was I over thinking the situation? We were good together, all of our friends would say we look like weve been in a relation for months we were that comfortable with eachother so why the sudden change?

@Dynastyday

Everyone has their own pace with taking things to the next level. Even decisions like wanting to remain at a certain level or slow down can be difficult for a variety of reasons like insecurity, trust issues, past baggage, anxiety, etc. So when both partners have a different pace of making those important decisions, it might take a little patience and time for things to get to the same page. You're absolutely right to walk away from the situation if it was making you feel bad or unhappy. It just means it wasn't the right fit. Hope that helps.
