Dear, am happy that you are willing to rejuvenate your friendship. Its true that suppose when the dark clouds cover the sky and signals the storm, we feel that sunshine won't ever come cause storm is ahead of that, yet time passes, the storm ceases and the sunshine comes embarcing the sparkly scenery of life.
So the storm of maybe like anything that hindered your friendship is going to get over with the recontact, so that you two again continue your journey of friendship covering great miles together as good pals.:)

Thank you so much. 🙂 The fact that were doing this shows that there still is a shred of trust in this friendship.
It kind of reminds me of Return of the Jedi, where Darth Vader comes to his senses and shows he still has good in him by saving Luke Skywalker from death at the lightning-charged hands of the Emperor. Likewise ... there is still hope for this friendship.

OK, todays the day! Im on my way to the Sip of Hope coffeehouse now to reconcile with my friend MA (and also a 7Cups Listener). I hope this turns out well ... I want to live a little longer. 🤣
All joking aside ... Im optimistic but also having some anxiety about this ...
The meeting with MA was at Sip of Hope coffeehouse, and we buried the hatchet although the road to that was difficult at times. Although the re-established friendship may not be strong now, it can get stronger in time, as long as we respect each other's boundaries by not saying or doing anything to intentionally harm or "trigger" the other andby beginning and continuing to support one another by showing kindness and compasion when one or the other reaches out in need of support and compassion.

Here's to bringing back old memories! 
Looking back, I ended up deciding not to continue being friends with MA because I just kept feeling like I was being strung along, and I needed to keep moving forward.
Now, I'm about to send a (former?) friend who began posting/chatting with me right here some birthday well wishes for his birthday tomorrow, even though he inexplicably and unexpectedly ghosted me beginning last month. I hope this goes well and I can reconnect, but this is gonna be "one and done". If I do not hear back, or get a nasty reply (I hope not 
), then that's gonna be it and I'm not gonna pursue any more reconnection. Honestly, I do not believe I said or did anything wrong to deserve what happened, but after tomorrow, I'm not gonna worry about it anymore.

Hello Abby, thanks for bringing this thread again, this thread really matters to me as i was a new listener then and becoz of this thread only i met you. Am so happy for this thread that atleast i got chance to met you and have a friend like u in 7cups .Perhaps without this thread i would never have got chance to met you, and it would have been a different story. Am grateful to God and to this forum thread always.Thanks for motivating and inspiring me.
Am sorry about what happened with MA, yet am so glad that you were able to move forward and find good friends .
About your other friend, i hope you send him the birthday wishes and he replies. Dont worry about whether he replies or not, you remember that you maintained the friendship and you still respect him as a friend. Remember the good times you spend with him.
About this thread, i want to write something, may be Abby, you created this forum back in sept 2018 about you visiting sip of coffee and rejuvenating ur friendship with MA. May be that, that friendship of your with MA didnt lasted, and that hurted you a lot. But i want to thank to this forum, that it really bought be a good luck that i found a person like you via this thread. its going to be 9 months to this thread. 8+month passed since this thread was created, many things have changed in life, and am grateful that i found a friend like you who helps me always. All i pray that the friendship grows stronger and stronger.Take care, have a good day ahead

You know what's really great about this thread and this friendship? Despite everything that changed in the last 9 months, this friendship remained the same.
This Sunday, I'm heading to another coffeehouse for a MeetUp event (and the proceeds of this one go for helping end youth unemployment in the city ), and who knows? & Cups friends seem to find their way to posting to me when I'm on my way to coffeehouses. 
I read your original post on here, also ... and it holds as true now as it did back then.

I have seen in my life many fallen friendship, that really hurts me, but best is that you are a supportive and helpful person. And am so happy and grateful to this forum for this friendship .

Unfortunately, I did not get a reply from the birthday card that I sent yesterday ... but to be honest, I really wasn't expecting one. Sadly, this former friend had decided to change, despite telling me to "always stay the same" ... so that's that and I'm not gonna go chasing after him. Instead, I'm gonna focus on the positive friendships that I already have, with you and others and also hope to make new stable and supportive friendships in the future.
I'm really looking forward to the coffee laugher tomorrow, too!

Whether or not those past friends who I thought I had ... those who walked out of my life, come back to me or not will be their decision and theirs only. At this point ... I'm glad that God has filled those voids left behid by the wonderful friends made since then, and I will always remember that morning in the coffeehouse when I first read your reply to my post here!
This year has gone by quickly, but this true friendship has grown since then and will stay strong!
