I'm getting really worried about one of my close friends. (I don't want to get into too much details) but earlier this year he woukd diagnosed with depression and anxiety and started seeing someone for it. the medications were working a little bit in the beginning, but he said that it's starting to get worse. He is having a hard time eating and doing any school and is emotionally tired and having a hard time seeing the light. I really want to support him the best I can and help him get through this. I just don't want to accidentally say anything insensitive or not supportive. I just don't know what the best way to support him through this, cause I'm scared something might happen. I want to make sure he knows that he is loved and I am supporting him, but without saying anything that would make it worse.

How do you feel about just being there for him and checking on him? He might think noone cares and you are right, not saying anything would make it worse. Friends are important when someone becomes Depressed.
