when is it the time to cut out a friend
i have had a friend for about 8 years and we never went to the same school until last year and our friendship became toxic. I have tried to get us back to a good spot but nothing changes. I feel as though we are both toxic to each and that we need a break. Is there any advice someone could give me as to what i should do?
@littlebranch8030 communicate honestly with them the issues between you too. communication is key to living a healthy life
@littlebranch8030 I have been through this similar situation and I have recently cut my best friends as our friendship turnedreally toxic and harmful for me. I tried everything to make things work just like you but nothing worked out. Finally I had to cut them out of my life. One thing I have learnt is that no matter what spoiled frienships cannot be turned back to good. There are too many misunderstandings, hurtful things left unsaid and even if they do get cleared after talking they resurface again as behaviour never changes. Start by slowly distancing yourself make a new friend, hangout with her. ShellS herself start to notice certain changes in behaviour. I hope you can do this. There is no point hanging on to what's already dead. I loved my best friends but they both tried to control me and dictate things. They were really insensitive to my feelings and constantlyexpected too much at every point. I tried my best to save what we had but failed. I wish I had cut them out sooner. Best of luck to you. You can do this. Do not hang on to what's not there. Everyone deserves a happy and healthy relationship you too 🤗
