Advice
I’ve been single for about a year now, my ex was my first love , I never connected so deeply with a person as I connected with them. They broke up with me. I talked to a few people but it wasnt the same , me and my ex were on and off for a few months and it was hurtful we couldn’t get it right , it helped me move on quicker from them because how much hurt they gave me though because it was always me trying to get us together and not them , I finally had enough and decided to move on . I started talking to this one person and I started really liking them , I felt like I was getting a connection with them , we only went on one date but it felt perfect . Only after they told me they didn’t want to continue speaking because they weren’t ready for anything yet since they had gone through a breakup the same as me. It hurt a lot because finally after moving on from my ex , I found sombody I genuinely liked and felt a connection it. I’ve now been down ever since because I just want to connect with somebody on a deeper level and be serious with somebody, I am scared though because of what happened with my date and we stoped talking , I just don’t know what to do , I guess I just want reassurance that I will find that person with a deeper connection and that love isn’t just a once thing. Has anyone a similar situation and has things gotten better for them?
@braveJackfruit5450 Love can be beautiful. Finding that connection, and being able to move forward with it. Is there anything better?

I'm sorry to hear you've been through all of this. Breakups can be really tough, especially when you've shared deep connections with someone. The truth is, many people have been in similar situations, and things do get better with time. It's normal to have moments of doubt and longing for a deeper connection, but healing and finding the right person often take time. Sometimes, it's about timing and meeting the right person when you least expect it. Just try to keep an open heart and mind, focus on self-improvement and your own happiness, and the right person will come into your life when you're both ready. Don't lose hope, because love is not just a one-time thing. There's a bright future ahead, and you'll find that special connection again. Stay patient and positive, and I hope things will work out
