Am I a fool?
About a week ago I found out my fiancée got drunk and made out/got felt up by a childhood friend. I only know because I dug through their messages. I allowed them to hang out again under the understanding that they had to meet in public places and all of that. Well they did again last night and I asked them not to be in a car alone together, and they did anyway. I got called crazy and making her feel like a prisoner. So this morning I texted the guy with her phone and asked if anything happened. Of course he told her and now I’m in the doghouse for pretending to be her to get information. Am I the fool? Or was I justified

I don't think that you’re a fool, but it does sound like you no longer feel that you can trust this person. Based on what you are saying, regardless of any promises made, and those promises being broken, trust no longer seems to be on the table.
I don't agree with pretending to be someone else, because that can cause your trustworthiness to be called into question.
No one should be made to feel like a prisoner. That means, that you are free as well, to pursue a relationship in which the trust is secure.
