My wife says that talking to myself is pathological.  I have always talked to myself for 55 years.

@BernardoSoaresDoppo it isn't pathological at all Bernardo, Lev Vygotsky suggested in the early 20th century that talking to yourself, or 'self-directed speech' plays a role in linking thought to speech in youngsters. When we do it as adults, it's been found to assist with reaction times, concentration and visual perception. This video is worth a watch- the comments underneath are priceless!

@BernardoSoaresDoppo,

there is absolutely nothing wrong with talking to yourself. On the contrary, it helps to focus, to analyze, clear your thoughts.

I've been talking to myself my whole life.

It can be annoying for others but that's their problem, not yours. I once had a manager who talked to himself too. So whenever we both were in, there were two of us talking to themselves. A colleague found that annoying so I told him "if it bothers you, tough luck, go sit somewhere else".
