Am I wrong?

My 14 year old daughter has been suffering from depression and anxiety for some time she just got out of the hospital and had been signed up for php which is like school for therapy or group therapy. It’s 9am-230 Monday through Thursday. He is being very unsupportive and isn’t wanting to drive her to and from appointments after he just sold my care out from underneath me for him to fix his truck. Then today we had to meet with CSB after I spent all morning filling out paperwork for her to attend php. Then it was time to pick her up and I got in the car and my anxiety was high so I was shaking my leg. He asked me to stop so I pulled my phone out to calm my nerves and he got upset that I was watching videos on *** but my legs stopped shaking so I’m confused then he drove recklessly with our 11 year old daughter in the back didn’t even check to make sure her seat belt was on. Then when I told him to chill he starts yelling at me and I started yelling back then he blared the music so loud I felt my inner ear vibrating. He’s driving not me why should I use my leisure time to not do what I want to do? Am I wrong when I did what I needed to calm myself down?

@reddapplemermaid

WOW, that sounded like it was really scary. I know I would be concerned.
So, I understand there is a 14 year old daughter in php, she was just dropped off. An 11 year old daughter in the back seat, ‘He’ didn’t check on when driving away recklessly. And you anxieties were so high, your leg was shaking. So you were distracting yourself with your phone. And ‘he’ got upset with you?

Well let me say this, you are an amazing person! WOW, that is a lot going on which proves, you are strong. I am not sure what I would have done if I were in your shoes.

We believe in you.

You have every right to feel how you feel. Those are your feelings. You are only responsible for your actions. No one else’s. We all have our limitations and when we reach them, we each have our own reactions. Some are more mature than others.

What do you think was causing the Anxiety?
Do you think would be a better way to cope with the Anxiety?
