Boyfriend problems…

See he’s stressed and I get that but I’m trying so hard to be there for him I get him things and I let him vent but he still is mean and blocks me off so i feel like I’m the problem and that I’m the cause of everything… but 8 hours later he’s lovey and tells me I’m not the problem. He brought up “age regression” maybe a month or two ago. He said it will help with his stress. And I told him I am willing to try it but I gave him a list of my boundaries I am not willing to do. I told him as long as it helps you I’m semi okay with it. But he wants to bring it to age play and I told him straight forward I am not okay with it and i *** down the conversation. But he decided I was the bad guy and that he wasn’t gonna talk to me for almost 14 hours. I’ve set my boundaries from the get go and he doesn’t like to listen to them. I start feeling used. People tell me to just break it off. But I don’t want to. I love him. I just want things to change.

Hey, thank you for sharing all of that I can feel how heavy this has been for you. First, let me say this clearly: your love, care and willingness to support him through his stress is deeply generous, and it shows how strong your heart is. You’ve done everything a good partner can do listening, giving space, offering comfortband even being open to new things within your boundaries. That matters. That’s love. But it’s also okay to feel hurt when that love isn’t being received with the same respect and care. You’re not the problem just because someone else is struggling. You're not asking too much by expecting respect, consistency and for your boundaries to be honored. Those are basic needs in a healthy relationship not extras. You shouldn’t have to feel like you're walking on eggshells between being blamed and being adored. That kind of emotional whiplash can wear down even the strongest person. Loving someone doesn’t mean you have to keep sacrificing your peace or your sense of self. You can hold love in one hand and still say, “This isn’t okay.” It’s not wrong to want things to change. And it’s not wrong to hope he will meet you where you are but it’s also not your job to carry the whole relationship on your back. You deserve to feel safe, heard, and cared for without having to explain why it matters every time. Whether you stay or go is your choice and no one has the right to pressure you either way. Just know your boundaries are valid. Your feelings are valid and you deserve love that doesn’t make you feel used, silenced or blamed.

You’re not alone in this and you're not being too much you're just asking for the bare minimum of what love should be. 💛
