Boy struggles

It all started last summer when I met him. We kinda liked each other and started hanging out and going on a few dates but didn’t really know each other. After just two months he cut it off saying he felt we had to take the next steps and date so he ended it. We continued to see each other on weekends and I’d always ask if there was something more but he always just said it was “just fun” because it was just us going to one of our places after the bars and stuff so it was just fun.

Until this May when I told him how I thought how awesome he was and that I’m just a phone call or text away. After that he moved a few hours away but texted me and asked if I wanted to go to a concert w him and his brother… which kinda threw me off but I went and it was pretty fun. We started texting more often and then he came and visited again and we went to a festival with some friends. Each night he stayed w me when I told him he could stay w his friends but he said no.

After that we began texting daily. We planned a festival to go to just us and it was a great time. He came a few days early and just spent time with me. This time it was sober, and we’d kiss and cuddle and do all types of coupley things. When we’re not together he’ll ask about my weekends and how things are going where I am. Just this past weekend he visited w his brother for another concert and was texting me throughout. One night he called me and I didn’t answer and I texted him the next morning asking if it was a butt dial but he said no that it was on purpose and that he was in a chatty mood. This weekend he also poked fun at me for not answering. While he was here he would ask me questions like “what’s your favorite thing about me” and all types of stuff. He told me how pretty I was and would compliment my outfits. He also had been texting about future plans for me and him to do together as well. I want to ask him what he thinks about us but I’m scared because I don’t want him to think I’m pressuring us into a relationship because that’s not what I want either. I just want to know if we’re on the same page.

@crumbofbread

It's ok to ask him if you are on the same page.

That's healthy.

And it allows you to know and be able to enjoy what youve both got, without pressurising the situation.

I hope you keep having fun 💛
