I keep comparing myself to my partner. They've always been the topper and is a fantastic student. On the other hand...I never really knew about my true potential so i never tried and thus was never an exceptional performer. But now i feel so bad about wasting the time i had plus i keep comparing. Whenever he shares about his success...instead of being happy i compare and feel super ***. How to control my emotions?

Hey, I hear you and I just want to say, it's okay to feel this way. You're not alone, and you're not wrong for having these emotions. Comparison can creep in so quietly, especially when it's with someone we love and admire. It’s painful when admiration turns into self-doubt. But that doesn’t mean you’re less than. Not at all.

The truth is, your journey has its own rhythm. You weren’t late you were growing in ways you might not have even realized. And just because you didn’t shine in the same way as your partner back then doesn’t mean you don’t have your own light. It’s there. It always has been.

The sadness you're feeling now isn't failure it's awareness. And that awareness can be the start of something powerful. You’re not the person who never tried anymore. You are trying now. You’re feeling, reflecting, and growing. That matters.

Let yourself feel proud of them and still be kind to yourself. You don’t have to measure up to their past to have a meaningful, brilliant future. You are not behind you are becoming

You’re worthy, as you are. Right now.

And you’re allowed to take up space and rise in your own time.
