I don’t know if this is the right community for this type of post, but I feel like my mom is a fake person and fundamentally wants me to live in a state of shame, but sometimes she’s nice to me which is confusing. She at the least has narcissistic tendencies and is manipulative.

I'm sorry your mother treats you this way.
Your feelings are valid.
And matter too.
It can be so difficult navigating this especially when it's a parent or family member.
As it can be conflicting but you don't deserve to be belittled by anyone, even your mother 💚
