Confused.
How to know if someone really loves you or not? We are in distance relationship for months now. He introduced me to his friends and his family as his future wife. I am friends on socials with his mom and dad. Last night, I waited for him all day, I thought he went to work. But when I opened ***, he was there playing, didn't even bothered to message or notify me. I messaged him there and felt like I was ignored. He asked me how am I and so on but I didn't replied since I already felt ignored. And til now I am silent. He doesn't even reply to me or even asking what's wrong.
He is a kind man, but sometimes I feel like he really doesn't love me.
This is what I personally would look for, but I would also take into account, sometimes people are busy or just forget about chat dates or sometimes, just aren't in the chatting mood.
Is he honest? Is he reliable? Can I be vulnerable around him, without him saying, I'm overreacting? Is he a good listener?
Do I feel comforted and heard? How does he handle disagreements? Does he apologise or try to make peace and discuss it, or does he pretend everything is fine?
I look for patterns of behaviour, overall do I feel good, after we've talked or do I feel empty and disappointed?
It's a bunch of things really, only you can take the time to figure it out or discuss your concerns with him directly :)
@ScrabbleBrain he works yes, a very high value man, we are both same religion, he is a very calm person, I think it's because of his discipline as an army medic. He knows how to apologize, and he told me that if there are things that does not feel right I should tell him directly. But yesterday, it's actually the first time he made me felt ignored.
@crimsonTree2685 Aww ok, well being ignored is not a nice feeling when you were excited to talk to him but hopefully it is just a one off time.
You can still share that you felt a bit sad because he didn't greet you and that's what you were expecting.
It does matter how you feel :)
