Don't know what to do
I liked a girl deeply for over two and a half years but never had the courage to talk to her because I'm an introvert. After being away for a while, I came back to find she had changed a lot — she’d been in a few relationships and there were some negative rumors about her. Still, I wanted to express my feelings, so I asked a friend to talk to her on my behalf.
At first, she said she liked me, but just a few days later, she changed her mind. When I asked her directly, she rejected me. Even then, she kept giving mixed signals through my friends — sometimes showing interest, sometimes backing off. Eventually, she told me to wait until her exams were over, and I agreed.
But just two days later, I saw her flirting with another guy. When my friend asked her about it, she said she didn’t like either of us. He also asked why she told me to wait, and she replied that she just felt sorry for me.
Even now, she still sends mixed signals, and I hold her deeply in my heart. I don’t know what to do.
@discreetPine8888 Hi! I can hear how much this situation has been weighing on your heart. It sounds really confusing and painful, especially when you’ve carried these feelings for so long and are getting mixed signals. Feeling hurt, frustrated, or unsure is completely natural anyone in your position would feel the same. It’s clear how much you cared and how deeply you’ve been holding onto this. I hope you can give yourself a little kindness in the midst of all this. Your feelings are valid, and it’s okay to feel this heaviness while you process everything.
