Don't know what to do
I liked a girl deeply for over two and a half years but never had the courage to talk to her because I'm an introvert. After being away for a while, I came back to find she had changed a lot — she’d been in a few relationships and there were some negative rumors about her. Still, I wanted to express my feelings, so I asked a friend to talk to her on my behalf.
At first, she said she liked me, but just a few days later, she changed her mind. When I asked her directly, she rejected me. Even then, she kept giving mixed signals through my friends — sometimes showing interest, sometimes backing off. Eventually, she told me to wait until her exams were over, and I agreed.
But just two days later, I saw her flirting with another guy. When my friend asked her about it, she said she didn’t like either of us. He also asked why she told me to wait, and she replied that she just felt sorry for me.
Even now, she still sends mixed signals, and I hold her deeply in my heart. I don’t know what to do.

It kind of sounds like she's still searching for herself with all of the mixed signals or she just has a lot of other things on her. I feel like leave her be for a while and if you're still interested in her, talk to her. Just be sure to follow your gut and if it doesn't feel right or you're having doubts, she may not be the best person to start a relationship with.
